Beergress IGN is a small, independently run Telegram bot. This page explains what it stores about you, why, and how you can see or remove it. It's a plain description of actual behavior, not a formal legal document.
/start or
/edit. If you don't save one, your Telegram username (or first name) is
used instead wherever a name is needed.
All of it exists to run the bot's actual features: posting meetups, tracking who's joined, and showing the right name for you instead of a Telegram handle that might not match your IGN. Nothing is used for advertising, analytics, or shared with anyone outside of running the bot.
The organizer name and participant count for a meetup are visible to anyone in the group where it was posted — that's the point of the feature. Your saved IGN itself is never shown to anyone except through that same mechanism (it's what gets displayed as your name), and it's never posted anywhere on its own.
There's no automatic expiry. A saved IGN and your meetup history stay until you remove
them yourself. Using /delete clears your saved IGN and disconnects your
Telegram account from every meetup you've ever joined or organized — the names
already posted in groups stay as they were, but the bot can no longer tell they were you.
Everything above is self-service, straight from a private chat with the bot:
